• Primarily, we ship via USPS Overnight Express Mail for a charge of $25.
   

• We also use UPS Next Day. (Shipping costs are normally $70).
   

• We also sometimes use DHL. (Shipping costs are normally $45).
   

• We also ship 2-3 Day Mail for some shipments, weather permitting
  (at your request), but no live arrival guarantees are made or implied.
  2-3 day shipping is $8.00.
   

• The term "overnight" does not imply that you will receive the package
  overnight, as some zip codes are not actually guaranteed to be delivered
  "next day" by the postal service. All UPS Next Day Air shipments are
  actual Overnight guarantees. Our guarantee at Northwest Invertebrates is
  for the animal(s) only under the terms below, and it has no affiliation with
  the carriers' delivery guarantee. We have no control over when
  your package arrives and cannot be responsible for late shipments.

Live Arrival Guarantee Policy   

• Northwest Invertebrates guarantees a Live Arrival to any continental USA destination when using an overnight service under the terms specified below.
   

• We should be notified of any DOA specimens within 6 hours of receipt
  of package via telephone at 1-800-598-1548 (leave a message if no answer)
  or email: sales@nwinverts.com.
   

• You will be required to either submit a photo of the DOA(s), or  to mail the DOA(s) back to us, for verification. In any case place the DOA in a freezer, temporarily.
   

• You will be required to sign for the package upon delivery.
  This is to assure someone will be there for the delivery of your package
  and so that it does not sit outside in the weather. If delivery attempt is
   made by the carrier and no one is at the delivery address to accept the
  package, the live arrival guarantee is void and cannot be honored. We are
  happy to make any other arrangements if you will not be home at the
  time of delivery such as to have the package held for pickup at post
  office or UPS station.
   

•  DOA Replacement shipments have No Live Arrival Guarantee.
   

• Shipping costs are never refundable by Northwest Invertebrates
  and are not guaranteed by Northwest Invertebrates on any shipment.
   

• We are not responsible for damage to the package causing injured or dead
  animals on the part of the parcel carrier or lost and or late packages due to
  parcel carrier error, postal service or  related parties..
   

• Buyer to pay all shipping costs on any DOA replacement shipment.
   

• In the event of a DOA animal(s) that meets the requirements for replacement,
  we will reship the item(s) and buyer will pay shipping on the replacement
  shipment. In the event that we do not have the replacement(s) in stock,
  we may issue a refund in full for the cost of the DOA animal(s), minus
  all shipping or handling costs.

• 
  Our packing methods are second to none and our one and only
         concern here is that you receive live, healthy animals, and that
  the animals spend the least amount of time and stress in transit.

Venomous Animals

• Please be advised that Northwest Invertebrates, nor it's owner, nor it's employees advise the handling of any animal or animals that we may sell.
   

• Northwest Invertebrates, nor it's owner(s) or  employees are responsible for any accidents, bites, mis-haps or injuries resulting from any animal we sell, once you, the buyer, are in receipt of the package. The buyer (receiver) accepts responsibility for all injuries or mis-haps caused to or by any person(s) resulting from any animal received.
   

• Northwest Invertebrates requires that persons must be 18 years or older to purchase arachnids with medically significant venom such as black widow spiders, recluse spiders, and select scorpions & tarantulas. You may be asked for age verification. Handling is not recommended for any animal we sell, and animals that possess what is considered to be "medically significant venom", should especially be avoided by inexperienced keepers. We are not responsible for your actions or mishaps that result once we ship you the animal(s).

Accepted Forms of Payment

• We accept Debit Cards, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, & Discover Cards. We also accept any form of payment made via PAYPAL. Money Orders, Cashiers Checks & Personal Checks are also accepted. Personal Checks &  E-Checks must clear our account before shipment will be made.
